July 5^th to 10^th Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt welcomes visitors to its Classic Open Air concert, with opera-classical and pop-symphonic performances. This is the festival’s 16^th year, and during the last years, its has proved that people are still fond of classical music, as approximately 475,000 music lovers visited a total of 82 concerts with more than 550 artists, solo performers, orchestras and choirs taking part. Beautiful venue and its neoclassical architecture make the event even more attractive for tourists. In the context of this year’s festival you can visit Wagner concert with the Robert-Schumann-Philharmonie Chemnitz on 5^th of July, an American night featuring the Berlin Star Singers (6 July), Viennese Strauss Gala (7 July) and an East Rock Symphony with the Neues Sinfonieorchester Berlin (9 July). Concerts usually start at 7.30pm or 8pm.
