For all the music fans there is a great event organised in Berlin July 14^th – August 4^th . The event s called “Popdeurope” and is held at the Arena Berlin. The focus of Popdeurope is music with a non-European dash. This way, the festival is aimed to show the diversity of European pop styles, and their connections with non-European countries. The choice of performers corresponds to the main aim of the show. This year you will see: Ingrid Eto, MIA, Diane Weigmann, Shantel and Bucovina Club Orkestar, Daveman, La Kinky Beat, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, Transsylvanians abd Eric Sumo Band. There are also various workshops, lectures, discussions and film demonstrations organised. If you are interested in other cultures, Popdeurope is for you.
