The annual Berlin’s festival of classic music called Classic Days (Klassiktage Berliner Schlosser 2007) presents series of classic concerts organised at the city’s most spectacular castles and buildings, such as Potsdam Castle, Spandau Citadel, Charlottenburg Castle and the Schlosskirche in Köpenick. This year the event is focused on such music genii as Mozart and Chopin. The festival will be opened July 27^th with a concert of Mozart and Chopin pieces at the Französischer Dom on Gendarmenmarkt (the performers are: Mozartquartett Berlin and a talented emerging Russian pianist Elizaweta Stepanowa). On July 29^th you can also enjoy concerts by Twins Quartet, Moscow who will perform Tchaikovsky's String Quartet No. 1 at Köpenick. The other highlights are Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik at Schloss Glienicke (2 August) and works by Schumann, Haydn, Beethoven and Bach. The final concert will take place August 5^th at Schloss Köpenick.
