August 3^rd – 12^th Berlin visitors can see the best and most entertaining side of Berlin at the Gauklerfest festival. The event is held in the principal part of the city next to the Opernpalais (between Alexanderplatz and the Brandenburg Gate), with lots of historic attractions, cafes, restaurants and hotels. A good starting point for your acquaintance with Berlin! Visitors can taste delicious food at the Gourmet Trail, buy crafts and antiques and enjoy a varied show programme which includes music concerts and performances by jugglers, fire-eaters and clowns. Performances are organised on four stages: Jazz stage (with concerts by Soul Syndicate, Easy Goin´, Salonorchester Berlin, Mantigo and others), rs2 Show Stage (Los Dos y Companeros, Die wilden Herzbuben, Zollfrei), Opera palace stage (Craig Lees, Princess CUT) and Market place stage (Andy Clapp, Opus sensation Knäcke road theatre).
