Organised at Berlin’s former Truman Plaza (Dahlem district), the German-American Fair will bring a truly American atmosphere to the city. Deutsch Amerikanisches Volksfest is an annual event during which the corner of Berlin-Dahlem, Clayallee and Argentinische Allee are turned into an American village, with its traditional music, food and what not. 2007 is the event’s 47^th year and this year it takes place July 28th to August 20^th. The focus of the fair is Los Angeles city, California, and all the attractions will correspond to its main theme. Among them there are: Venice Beach (with Muscle Men and Karaoke-Show), Grauman's Chinese Theatre, competition for Miss and Mister German-American Volksfest, Hollywood comes to life (where you can take your picture as a Hollywood star) and many others. There will also be artists from Los Angeles and other parts of the USA performing at the show.
