2007-08-25 Saturday 25th August 2007 one of the most interesting tourist events
in Berlin celebrates its 10 anniversary. Ten years ago the first Long Night of
Museums was organised in the city. This will be the 21st Long Night and the
programme will combine traditional entertainment with some new activities. As
usually, more than 100 museums will open their doors to visitors. To make your
excursions more convenient, there will be shuttle buses running along 12 different
routes. In addition to traditional excursions, there will be lots of other
activities organised. Among them there are: Culture Forum and
the Oberkreuzberger nasal flute orchestra performance at the Potsdamer Platz, a
varied programme of readings and discussions in the information centre at the
memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe, a large Grill-party at the
Energy-Museum and much more. The night of the museums lasts from 6pm to 2am and
is definitely an event not to be missed!
