Samba Syndrom is a true celebration of samba music, held for the 12^th time this year. The event takes place September 27^th – 30^th at Landesmusikakademie and features many acts, including festive concerts, workshops and masterclasses. This year’s highlights are: improvised percussion concert with Dudu Tucci, Samba Coco in a danced version with Orlangelo Lêal, Maracatu with Fabiano Lima, performance by Kick La Luna and Zelia (Frankfurt/Main) and a multimedia event with drummers, DJs and VJs. This is also an excellent opportunity to improve your dance skills, with several lectures and movies supporting the event programme. The end of the Samba festival coincides with another city event - Berlin Marathon, during which there will be a giant batucada performed. A choice of entertainment and workshops for kids is also available. Also don’t miss the Family Weekend on 29^th – 20^th September.
