Every half a year Berlin celebrates Long Shopping Night, so if you are a shopoholic and a “night owl” at the same time, don’t miss the event.  15^th Long Shopping Night takes place 27^th October 2007 in the Kurfürstendamm and, as usually, coincides with the changing of the clocks from summer time to winter time. Around 350 shops, department stores, bars, restaurants and cinemas will stay opened until midnight so that Berliners and city visitors could have a long evening of shopping. Organisers plan to attract about 600.000 visitors to the event. No wonder why it is often called “the most successful shopping party in Germany.” The night is usually accompanied by street parties, music performances and craftmarkets. Main stages for the shopping night are Europa Center, Breitscheidplatz and Niketown Berlin.
