Haus der Berliner Festspiele presents Spielzeiteuropa with its choice of European dance and theatre productions, discussions and concerts. From October to January those interested in innovative performances and new theatrical forms are invited for this curious action. Spielzeiteuropa is focused on European theatre companies and artists, both well-known and young ones. The highlights of the event are: “Stifter’s Things” by Heiner Goebbels, concert “The Sound of Silence”, “Carole King. Queen of the Beach” - Rock’n’Roll Recital in the Bornemann-Bar, theatrical performance “To Be Straight With You” in English, and some others. The festival’s programme also offers lectures (like “Much Ado in the Jungle” by the Greenpeace), symposiums (“Collective Creativity”) and film series (“DV8 Films”, “Jean Genet Film Series”).
