2006-08-27 All classic music-lovers are invited Sunday, 27 August 2006 at 20:00 at Epiphanienkirche. Sam Bayliss will perform his program Organ Recital. The program will consist of Sonata for Organ No 3 in A, Op 65 by Felix Mendelssohn, Psalm Prelude 'Lo, the poor crieth' Set 1 No 1 by Herbert Howells, Alleluyas by Simon Preston, Fantasia a 4 by Orlando Gibbons, Prelude, Scherzo and Passacaglia, Op 41 by Kenneth Leighton, Toccata and Fugue in F, BWV 540 by Johann Sebastian Bach and Hornpipe Humoresque by Noel Rawsthorne. The Epiphanienkirche is located in Charlottenburg district and its special church organ has a uniquely outstanding sound quality. The Church often houses concerts and festivals with musicians and ensembles from all over the world.
