2006-09-18 If you ask any of the German citizens, which country in Europe they dislike the most of all, one of the most frequent answers will be “France”. Germany and France for long centuries have been the main rivals on the European arena and the spirit of this competition still lives in the hearts of the descendants of the Galls and Goths. However, it’s music that unites both nations. Music festival Francofolies successfully held in France and Canada, now comes to Berlin. From 18 till 21 September 2006 in the Kulturbrauerei, a former brewery in the heart of the city visitors will enjoy the best of the French music. French music is not well known and extremely popular in Germany, but this festival promises to improve the situation. There will be organized three stages representing different music styles - pop, rock, chanson and electronic music.
