International exhibition InnoTrans 2006 (19-22 September) will present new transport technologies, innovations, transport means and system. Berlin is not a random choice for such an exhibition. The city has about 220 companies working in transport area. Target visitors for this event are representatives of governmental and private transport companies, producers and distributors of equipment and technologies, consultants and trade associations. The InnoTrans Convention also offers a special Dialogue Forum sponsored by the Deutsches Verkehrsforum (German Transport Forum), Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen (VDV, Association of German Transport Companies), the Verband der europäischen Schienenverkehrsindustrie (UNIFE, European Rail Transport Industry Association), and the Verbande der Bahnindustrie in Deutschland (VDB, German Rail Industry Association). It is initiated and organized by the Deutsche Bahn AG, the European and Asian Rail Summit (EARS).
