Some think that only Brazilians can dance samba and play football. As for football, the recent World Cup proved that Europe is still on the top, and as for samba – Europeans again will compete with the world known Brazilian samba schools in the art of dancing. From September 21st till September 24th Berlin's Landesmusikakadem will host Samba Syndrom - a festival celebrating samba groups across Europe. What to expect? Concerts, workshops and other samba events. Samba bands will present their best, and those who are willing to be as good as them can attend different workshops and classes. If you prefer just to watch and not to take part – then the best choice will be Samba Night on Friday (22nd September). Simultaneously the FEZ keeps rocking the family weekend inspired by the Samba Syndrom: kids entertainment, cultural information of all types and a colorful stage program.
